Known as the “mountain of rain”, in the Kunza language, popularly called the “Teta”, the Saire is the highest mountain in front of San Pedro de Atacama, due to the shape of its summit, it is possible to see in a panoramic view of all the surroundings in 360°, fully appreciating the beauty of Chile and Bolivia, in addition to having the best view of its neighboring volcano: Licancabur.
It is a difficult route, prior acclimatization and experience in ascents is needed, we go along the route on the way to Tatio, we make a stop to have breakfast, we receive the corresponding instructions and we begin the trekking, it is approximately 3 hours uphill and we reach almost 6000 Masl. An extreme experience, culminating in a majestic landscape.
